Technical and service roles lead growth
Big data specialists, AI and machine learning engineers, and software developers are among the fastest-growing occupations in proportion, alongside high-volume service and support roles.

The sharpest decline hits codified administrative tasks
Data entry, teller and administrative secretarial roles record the steepest decline in absolute numbers, functions whose tasks are the most easily documented and therefore automated.

Experience commands a higher price, not a lower one
The salary premium linked to experience reaches 40% on average across all occupations. AI primarily replaces documented, codified tasks; it complements judgement and tacit knowledge built over several years.

A very uneven exposure across industries.
The sectors most exposed to AI show per-employee productivity growth well above others, a factor close to 4x over 2018-2024 compared to the previous cycle.
Finance & Capital
Credit scoring, AML/KYC compliance and fraud detection automated first. First-level analyst roles are the most directly affected by task recomposition.
Health & Life Sciences
Slower adoption than elsewhere due to regulation (MDR/IVDR, health data), but a sharp rise in demand for cross health-data skills.
Industry, Energy & Infrastructure
Predictive maintenance and embedded AI shift value from manual technical skill toward the interpretation of sensor data and predictive models.
Commerce, Services & Customer Experience
More than half of AI-related job postings in Europe concern roles outside technology (customer service, sales, marketing), not only technical positions.
Tech, Innovation & Public Sector
The most exposed and best-paid sector for AI skills. For every AI developer role, there are roughly seven AI user roles, most of the demand is for the ability to use AI, not to build it.

The CIFSO 5000 protocol assesses the Organisation & Talent dimension on precise, verifiable criteria: founder dependency (O-11), management team depth (O-12), succession plan (O-13), operational documentation (O-14), key talent retention (O-15, reference threshold: annual turnover at or below 10% on critical roles).
These criteria measure the stability of an organisation, not its capacity to keep pace with the skills recomposition shown by the data above. A team stable under criterion O-15 can still carry a skills gap if no update is undertaken: retention and skills refresh are not measured the same way.

HR leaders & executives
63% of employers cite the skills gap as the top barrier to their transformation, and 85% already prioritise internal training. Out of 100 employees, 11 still have no support planned today, that is the figure to fix first.
CFOs & investors
The productivity gap per employee between AI-exposed and non-exposed sectors (a factor close to 4x over 2018-2024) is a valuation signal directly usable in screening or due diligence, independent of classic financial indicators alone.
